WATERTOWN, New York (WWNY) - Small businesses in Watertown are hoping to bring in big crowds this Small Business Saturday.

And this year there will be a new addition.

For the first time, Shop Local Saturday held at the Paddock Arcade is rolling out a catalog alongside the event.

The catalog holds special deals from some of the 15 local businesses that will be at the event Saturday.

Going strong for nine years now, the reason behind Shop Local Saturday is the same.

”We want you to shop local, not shop small, we want you to shop big, okay? So shop locally, shop big, and come out to support local businesses and enjoy the season,” said Greg Stickel with WatertownFirst, the organization hosting the event.

To get into the holiday spirit, Northern Blend Chorus and a special guest from the North Pole will be at the Paddock Arcade starting at 11 a.m.
