Athlete of the Week: Teis Hegelund
ADAMS, New York (WWNY) - This week, we honor a soccer player from South Jefferson who’s made a mark on the program in his one season with the team. This Danish Dynamo earns this week’s title.
Teis Hegelund is a talented foreign exchange student from Denmark who has certainly made his mark on Spartans Soccer. A defenseman in his native country, he played forward for South Jefferson and recorded 20 goals and 3 assists for 40 points despite being double and triple teamed.
That total in 14 total games for the Spartans.
An outstanding performer on the pitch.
