Athlete of the Week: Jonny Lafontaine

WATERTOWN, New York (WWNY) - This week, we honor a soccer player from Lyme who’s closing out an outstanding career with the Lakers. His all around soccer ability earns him this week’s title.

Jonny Lafontaine has closed out an exceptional varsity soccer career. He put up 27 goals and 25 assists and won back to back Frontier League D Division MVP Awards.

Over 3 seasons, he tallied 71 goals and 51 assists. He had 3 goals and 3 assists against Beaver River, 4 goals and 1 assist against LaFargeville and 3 goals vs Mater Dei.

Jonny is an all around exceptional talent.
