Beth Hall grew up in Lowville, N.Y., so she has a love and understanding of the North Country.
She earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Mass Communications from SUNY Plattsburgh.
After working in Top 40 radio for many years, she made the switch to television by coming to 7 News in 1998. She has been the morning co-host and weather presenter (morning and noon) for over 20 years.
Beth also acts as emcee and makes appearances for many local events throughout the community.
In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and traveling.

If you’re heading out for Black Friday shopping, you might want to bundle up.
Most of today will be dry, but that changes by late afternoon.
We’ll reach our highs for the day this morning, then temperatures will fall throughout the afternoon.
With most places in the 40s, Friday was off to a mild start.
The north country woke up to winter weather advisories in effect, although they could end earlier than originally planned.
Early morning temperatures on Wednesday were a stark contrast to what we had the previous morning.
We’re going to hit temperatures that are about average for the beginning of November.
Here’s the bottom line on Thursday’s weather. It gets better, no matter where you are. But where you are makes a difference.
Look for a high that will touch the mid-30s, maybe a little snow.
It will be on the chilly side for trick or treaters tonight.
Temperatures in the 30s and 40s won’t budge much over the course of the day.
We could see a few showers moving through this morning, but it should be mainly dry after that.
Most areas were in the 40s to start the day, although a few in higher elevations dropped into the 30s overnight .
We started out Friday with temperatures that could easily have been the highs for the day.
There’s only about a 20% chance of rain today and if it falls, it would most likely be in St. Lawrence and Lewis counties.
We’ll have rain showers on and off for much of the day, but not everywhere.
Temperatures will be well above average for this time of year, but still about 10 degrees cooler than it’s been for the last few days.
Temperatures in the 50s and low 60s would be fine as highs for this time of year, but today, they’re the early morning lows.
We’ll have dry skies today and it looks as if it will stay dry into next week.
We have another nice day ahead and it’s looking great right into the weekend.
We’re off to another chilly start. In fact, some areas are under a frost advisory for part of the morning.
You might want to grab that umbrella or rain jacket as you head out this morning, although you may not need either later.
It will be on the cool side today, but seasonably so. You might want to grab a sweater, hoodie, or light jacket.
With temperatures mainly in the 50s, the day was off to a comfortable start.
There’s some isolated fog around the area, so be careful if you’re heading out early.
It will be another muggy day, but not as oppressive or as hot as it’s been.
