WATERTOWN, New York (WWNY) - The Salvation Army in Ogdensburg put its services on pause because it’s short on staff. That means the community center won’t open its food pantry or provide a space for addicts to get help:

The Salvation Army in Ogdensburg was active last winter in operating a warming center to assist homeless persons. Who’s going to take their place?

John Tenbusch

This is sad. They help so many people. Hopefully, things get better for them.

The Massena Police Department says a local trick-or-treater wound up with a bag of marijuana edibles on Halloween:

Someone is probably searching their house for this bag and likely mortified to see that it ended up in a kiddo’s trick-or-treat bag.

Brenda Burl

You actually believe this is real?

Mike Jamtime

If anyone can figure out where it came from, lmk because I’m going there next Halloween.

Belva Hall just worked her final weekend as owner of the Sahara Restaurant. At 90 years of age, she’s retiring and selling the town of Wilna business:

Best food this side of heaven! Enjoy your retirement. You have certainly earned it!

Amy Malbouf

Congratulations on retirement, Belva! Thank you for the memories of being the home to nearly every family celebration.
