WATERTOWN, New York (WWNY) - Massena officials are going after 2 village properties, saying the police are getting called there too many times. The village is going to court to get the properties either shut down or cleaned up:

If the police are there all the time, then there are probably crimes that these people are being charged for. If only the...criminal justice system worked properly, then these tenants would be in jail or rehab and not tenants in these properties.

Steve Hartz

Don’t put this problem onto the owner. We all know once these people move in it is next to impossible to MOVE THEM OUT!

Angela Skeldon

MetalCraft Marine put in the lowest bid for a state parks contract. Instead, New York sent the work to Washington state. The local boat manufacturer and lawmakers want to know why:

It’s not just the lawmakers who want to know why! Sounds shady to me.

Karl Helmer

Maybe the other company builds a better boat. It’s not always about being the low bidder.

MJ Thomas

The future of education in New York could include fewer Regents exams and more projects and presentations:

The Regents diploma is an absolute farce. It doesn’t mean a thing outside of New York state.

Dave Johnson

It’s about time to explore other options.

Alex Melara Davies

Just keep dumbing down America.
