Veterinarian discusses pets and water safety

WATERTOWN, New York (WWNY) - Veterinarian Dr. Stephanie Young of the Animal Doctors Veterinary Clinic says pets should be drinking boiled or bottled water during Watertown’s water emergency.
She appeared on 7 News at Noon on Friday to discuss water safety for pets. Watch her interview above.
Dr. Young also says owners should keep their pets from drinking water in puddles for example because it could be contaminated with life-threatening bacteria.
